‘Trumpeter’

IMG_0083Now as anyone who follows this blog will already know by now; I frequently visit Chichester to take photographs of street activity and the like.

During my many visits I must have seen a variety of ‘street performers’ from guys making sand sculpture dogs through to professional opera singers, even electric organists, and country and western singers. So in a way it was pleasant surprise to hear this very talented musician playing some very melodic tunes with his trumpet.

He was seriously good and played a vast repertoire of music; most of which appealed to the majority of shoppers visiting that particular day. Each of whom threw their small change into his collection box to acknowledge their appreciation.

I think such performers make routine visits to the shops more memorable and indeed they inevitably bring out the best in people (well mostly! that is)

But then I guess you will never please all of the people of Chichester all of the time eh?

Having been a street busker myself in another life; I know exactly what some people can be like.

But then again I don’t like to blow my own trumpet.

  1. I can for sure say, with 100% confidence and conviction simply oozing from my pores that you aren’t some amatuer photographer. You are simply amazing, and such a talented photographer (and captioneer 😉 ) that it leaves me breathless.

    Continue your amazing work!

    Love,
